Ryan Kent has been a Rangers target seemingly all summer but as we head into the final weeks of the window, it seems Liverpool are firm in the idea that they only want a permanent deal for him.
The winger was excellent for us last season at Ibrox and tore things up down the flanks, with him scoring and assisting goals on a regular basis.
However, we have not been able to get him back on loan and as per Liverpool expert James Pearce, the Reds want £10m for him and not a penny less, nor do they want a loan deal for him.
Clearly, then, they are not going to listen to anything we can offer on loan and Pearce states that if a deal cannot be sorted on a permanent he will just be staying at Liverpool.
That’s how the land lies, then, and I think most of us have accepted it’s not happening now.
