Will Manchester United be, as expected, too srong for Rangers or can Rangers shock the English giants by getting a draw or even a win? Get voting folks.
The last time the two teams met in this competition was in the 2003/2004 season. Manchester United won both games, 1-0 at Ibrox and 3-0 at Old Trafford. Hopefully Rangers can cause a major upset in Manchester and come away with all three points.
Ok it’s maybe a bit of a dream, but the game is after all taking place in the theatre of dreams so why not dream? Rangers have been making a meal of beating teams like St Johnstone and Hamilton Accies of late but perhaps they are saving themselves for the big one.
Or… could we be in for a big humilation? Remember not so long ago, Italian giants went to Old Trafford and were thrashed 7-0! Quite worrying. Add to the fact that Rangers were humbled 4-1 twice at Ibrox in last season’s campaign.
Well let’s hope that we at least make a good account of ourselves and we show that the best Scottish football can offer can put up a good fight against one of the teams who will be expected to go all the way in this competition.
