Charlton Atheltic fans hate the idea of losing attacker Karlan Grant to Rangers this January, after he was linked with signing a pre-contract at Ibrox.
The Scottish Sun reported on Tuesday that the Gers see him as a long-term replacement for Colombian Alfredo Morelos, impressed with his form the English League One outfit so far this season.
Grant has scored 13 goals and assisted 5 times, helping Charlton challenge for promotion to the Championship.
With Morelos expected to leave the club for a bigger league over the next couple of years, Rangers need to start thinking of a succession plan to ensure there is no drop in quality in attack and it appears the Charlton 21-year-old fits the bill as a budget signing.
Fans of the Addicks hate the idea of losing him to Rangers and have pleaded on social media for him to sign a new contract, with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.

He's been decent this season for us. However, this is the first season he's a) really played well and earned his spot and b) been given a regular starting place. He has a lot of potential given he's only 21 and hopefully we can hang on to him.

Get real…Neither Karlan or Lyle are going nowhere! Surely you can find some half decent scots to play for your team? #cafc
