Midfielder Andy Halliday produced another battling display for Rangers on Sunday and fans continue to be impressed with his form under Steven Gerrard.
On the brink of a permanent exit from Ibrox under Pedro Caixinha, he was eventually sent to Azerbaijan on loan before returning and fighting for his place in the first-team squad.
Under Gerrard, his commitment and performances have been a real positive and again on Sunday he gave it his all in the 3-3 draw at Fir Park against Motherwell.
There were times in the game that the Steelmen’s midfield were on top in the encounter, but with a formation change and uncertainty in defence, it would be unfair to lay the whole blame on Halliday and his midfield teammates.
He was eventually substituted but fans were impressed enough to take to social media and share their happiness with his continuing turnaround at the club…
Feels like a defeat, totally unacceptable against a really poor team. Ejaria and Andy Halliday were phenomenal

Well done Andy Halliday today. Taken terrible abuse from fans. He was asked to sign a contract with the team he supports. He didn’t pick himself to play. Sometimes fell short on quality but I am certain he gave his all.
