Rangers now know that we will face Barry Ferguson’s Clyde at Ibrox if we pass the Hibernian test in the first round.
We take on Hibs on Tuesday August 5 and if we progress through the first round we will welcome back former skipper Ferguson with his team, having taken charge of League 2 Clyde back in June.
They have already progressed through to the second round following a two nil victory over Ayr United last Saturday.
The second round tie will take place on August 19 or 20.
