Rangers supporters are eager to see defender Lee Hodson leave Ibrox permanently this summer, even if it means the club don’t receive any sort of significant fee for him.
Outlets like The Scottish Sun reported last week that sides like Scottish Premiership outfit St Mirren were interested in signing him, two years after he arrived at Rangers from Milton Keynes Dons.
The 26-year-old has made less than 30 appearances since then, never really convincing a succession of managers nor supporters that he was capable of playing regularly for the Gers.
Steven Gerrard has already made 10 signings since being announced as the permanent boss at Ibrox, wasting no time in revitalising a tired and failing squad.
Now, fans appear to have completely lost patience with Hodson in particular and want to see the end of his Rangers career before the end of this transfer window.
These supporters took to Twitter recently to share their thoughts on a potential exit…
I’ll personally pay a fee if you can guarantee he’s leaving ????

I'd pay another team to take Hodson off our hands. One of the worst full backs we've had in some time – and that's almost an impressive feat given the banter years.

We’ll end up paying someone to take him off us. One of the worst rangers players of all time

No fee is fine.
Just him leaving is the gift.

You'd pay for someone to take him

Whoever's responsible for all the contracts handed out to players over the past few years needs hung the amount of money we have wasted with zero return is shocking

It’s grim we can’t even offload players on a free transfer.

We are bloody terrible at realising assets when it comes to selling our players. All we seem to go is release or terminate contracts. No wonder we were struggling so badly financially
