Rangers fans are not especially keen on the thought of signing Hearts striker Uche Ikpeazu after watching him in action during this weekend’s Edinburgh derby.

The recruitment team at Ibrox are reported to be keen on adding him to Steven Gerrard’s first-team squad this summer, battling Celtic for his signature, which could cost as much as £1m.

However, many supporters feel he doesn’t have the quality to compete for places in Gerrard’s side, never mind provide an improvement on players like Alfredo Morelos.

Possessing plenty of power and having shown glimpses of decent finishing ability, the consensus seems to be he doesn’t have the skill and ball playing ability to be a success at Ibrox.

Now the transfer reports are out, fans will be watching his progress at Tynecastle closely, although he failed to impress many during the weekend’s derby against Hibernian, which Hearts lost 2-1.

These fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on signing the 24-year-old…
