Rangers dropped points against Hibernian for the second time in a week on Boxing Day, failing to win at Ibrox despite initially taking the lead in the match.

Alfredo Morelos scored his 20th goal of the season to send the Gers on their way to victory against the visitors, only to be undone by a Darren McGregor header four minutes from time.

The 1-1 draw means that Steven Gerrard’s side trailed Celtic by three points heading into this weekend’s massive Old Firm derby, with a win now needed to stay within touching distance of the Hoops.

Fans were critical of the performance, again frustrated by the lack of chances created in the final third across the 90 minutes.

Much of the frustration was aimed at prospect Glenn Middleton, with many feeling that he is just too young and raw to be relied upon consistently.

Recognising he has potential, many are worried that his continued selection could be detrimental to both his development and the team.

These supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his Boxing Day display…
