Rangers had to settle for a point out of a fierce contest against Motherwell at Fir Park on Sunday afternoon.
The 3-3 draw in the Scottish Premiership marks the second time in three league matches that Steven Gerrard’s side have given away a goal in the closing moments of the game, preventing victory.
Having gone behind in the match twice to then fashion a 3-2 lead, it was incredible disappointing to see the three points slip away.
There were positives to take from the game of course, including the performance of midfielder Ovie Ejaria.
The Liverpool loanee looked excellent throughout and it was his goal that gave the Gers the lead heading into the interval.
He’s growing and improving with every game and looks like he is developing the strength and confidence to match his undoubted techinical ability on the ball.
A physical battle like today’s match will have been a massive learning experience for him.

Some positives from today – Ejaria was immense. He is getting better every game, the ball seems to stick to his feet like velcro. Jack also brilliant and Halliday did his job well. Lafferty – I'm surprised at how much he's improved since 2012. Will get goals of service is there.

Gutted to concede that late on today! But showed great character to get back in the game then go ahead! 352 didn't work today back to 433 felt more comfortable in defence when playing that! Tav sleeping for corner to equaliser! Ejaria was our best player today ????⚪️????

I thought that was an excellent performance from Halliiday today Jack continues to impress and Ejaria growing with every game. Worst big Goldson has played but he can't be 10/10 every week. We never played 2nd half and all credit to Motherwell No complaints and on to Thursday.

Ejaria continues to impress, why we persevere with Halliday is beyond me. Shown other teams how to play us today long ball and cross ball. We were worryingly poor at the back today. Hopefully a blip in a massive week.
