Nacho Novo is arguably one of the Rangers players throught the years who has played with his heart on his sleeve for the team he loved, turning down the other team to play for the team he loved.
He is without a doubt one of the fans favourites as everyone knows that he plays for the love of the badge and with passion.For him it means everything.
He is not one of the most technically gifted players ever to pull on a Rangers jersey, but what he lacks in skill he makes up for in enthusiasm and energy. Opposing teams must hate it when they see his name on the squad sheet as he has a presence about him on the pitch that has been known to help win matches.
To achieve 200 appearances for Rangers is something he can be very proud of, 79 of those appearances saw him come off the bench. Sometimes we have seen a jaded team regalvanised after Nacho has come off the bench.He brings energy, heart and determination, chasing down balls and harrassing defenders.
No one will every forget Novos penalty that took us into the UEFA cup final.
