Rangers Word On The Tweet

“No surprise” as star man continues incredible form for Rangers in 5-star display

|

Rangers continued their impressive start to the season with a 5-0 demolition of Hearts and it was, of course, man-of-the-moment, Alfredo Morelos who got the ball rolling with the opening goal after 11 minutes.

After his sensational double against Feyenoord in mid-week, the Colombian was at it again with another towering header to open the floodgates with Borna Barisic, again, the provider.

Morelos is now on 25 goals in 28 appearances for the Light Blues and where he probably won’t beat Marco Negri’s 33 goals before New Year, he is well on track to surpass his 30 goals for the whole of last season.

Will Morelos score against Celtic in the League Cup final?

Yes

Yes

No

Rangers fans took to Twitter when Morelos opened the scoring to show their love for the forward as he continues his remarkable start to the season, another goal or two next Sunday in the league cup final really would be the icing on the cake.

All eyes will be on Steven Gerrard’s line-up for Wednesday’s trip to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen and whether or not he’ll ask Morelos to “empty the tank” over the next few weeks in a series of huge games with the league cup, Europa League qualification and vital Scottish Premiership fixtures on the horizon.
