We’re all surely looking forward to the January window because Steven Gerrard has got some serious work to do in terms of signing attaking players.
The boss has seen some good results this season but in recent games we have been below par and that is because we have been blunt going forwards.
With Alfredo Morelos missing we look a far worse outfit and it seems safe to assume that we’ll be looking at other threats to help him out for the second half of the season.
That in mind, then, Sky Sports Scotland is reporting that Gillingham striker Tom Eaves is of interest to the Gers:

This would be an interesting one as he is tearing up League One at the moment and top scorer down there in England.
Would he be good enough for us? It’s up for debate but it seems as though fans are torn by it on Twitter…

I’ve never herd of him. Reading into it seems they have just sent scouts to watch him, they do that with loads of players. Defoe could still happen imo, but we need a replacement for when morales goes and he’s not that.
