24 year old Motherwell midfielder Nicky Law has confirmed that he is holding talks with Rangers over a summer move.

He also admitted that he had two offers on the table from English Championship sides, and a League One team, but he has only held talks with Ally McCoist.

‘I have talked to Ally and I was very impressed with what he had to say. He is the only manager I’ve talked to so far. This is a huge decision for me, but Rangers are a massive club and the chance to play in front of 50,000 fans every other week is something you don’t get with half of the Barclays Premier League and that is a huge attraction.’

Law’s adds that he intends to speak to the other clubs who have expressed an interest in him, and he’s not going to rush a decision but he does plan on speaking to McCoist once he’s held discussions with the other clubs.

He further adds on the Rangers interest that if he did join us, it would be with a mind to playing in the SPL and the fact it’s believed that Ally would want him tied to a long contract would stand in our favour.

Law’s adds that he’ll no doubt benefit from the advice of Stuart McCall here because he knows this potentially will be the biggest move he will face in his career.
