The SPFL earlier posted up a short compilation video featuring one of the most skilful players to grace the Scottish top-flight – I give you Mr Brian Laundrup.
The video is obviously well worth a watch to be fair and it is a nice trip down memory lane for the, shall we say, wiser Rangers fan.
⚽️???? @RangersFC legend Brian Laudrup dazzled Scottish football fans with his effortless skill!

Always was a tasty player and given my own age (no you can’t ask!) I only have fleeting memories of the Great Dane myself, but that certainly shows the younger folk why he was held in such high esteem by club(s) and country. Some absolutely cracking goals in that set and his list of medal from across his career wasn’t too shabby either given what he lifted – the four-time record holding Danish Footballer of the Year even helped himself to a European Championship winners medal (1992) amongst his other prizes.
Would put a number of modern footballers to shame even if back then the reported £2.5million fee was considered on the high side. Four years, 147 appearances and a return of 41 goals…wish I’d have been able to see more myself!
As you can imagine, some were reading about Rangers even though they aren’t concerned with us.
The fact he won Danish player of the year more times than anyone, won the euros with Denmark and a champions league with Milan alone shows you have the brains of an arse cheek

If you were intelligent you wouldn't be accusing someone else of starting a comment you yourself made.
Just goes to show, you really can't educate stupid.

Great technique and athleticism. If I may be so bold to proffer a criticism, he was VERY one-footed. Then again, so was my fav Scottish player ever – the mercurial Davie Cooper.

Still an absolute legend ????????
