We may be a few days removed from our clash with Celtic, but the fallout from the derby is still ongoing. This week, Alfredo Morelos was cleared of any wrongdoing in the clash, referring to a couple of incidents that occurred during the fixture, meaning that there’s no chance of a suspension for the forward.

Now, former Celtic man Chris Sutton has delivered his verdict on the decision, and it’s fair to say that he doesn’t agree. He’s described the decision as ‘farcical’.

Now, certainly, there was scope for a bit of retrospective action, but we can’t help but see a bit of bias in Sutton’s comments. Never mind the fact that Scott Brown had a couple of nasty incidents too, the suggestion that there’s a bias against Rangers – given all of our red cards this season – is almost laughable, but Sutton appears convinced.

Unsurprisingly, Rangers fans have been quick to respond to Sutton’s comments, and it’s clear that they aren’t on the same page as the former forward. They’re not convinced by his argument, that’s for sure…

  • Was that clown like that at Blackburn? Surely someone in the English FA must have tried to stop them winning the league. As for Hartson saying the chants about Griffiths were the most disgusting thing he’s ever heard was he wearing ear plugs during the minute’s silence? I could hear those morons and I only watched it on tv.
