Rangers fans are not happy with striker Alfredo Morelos after he was sent off in today’s derby against Celtic.

The Colombian elbowed Hoops captain Scott Brown in the chest in the first half, putting his teammates and manager under serious pressure after already going 1-0 down.

The Gers battled back well to equalise through Ryan Kent but ultimately lost out after a James Forrest winner.

Now 13 points behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, our season is as good as over and we must now think about rebuilding the team again this summer to push for major honours next term.

There are again serious doubts about Morelos’ future at the club after the red card, which incredibly was his fifth of the season. Now facing a lengthy ban, is it time to cut our losses with the 22-year-old?

He may have scored 29 goals this season, but if we can’t rely on him in the big matches then he shouldn’t be at Ibrox.

These fans are furious and took to Twitter to share their thoughts…

Does Alfredo Morelos have a future at Rangers after today’s incident? Have your say below…

  • There comes a time when enough is enough, let’s get the best deal we can and pass on the problem, he’s taking the piss now!

  • Not only is he a liability and embarrassment to the club but when does he score in games that matter …..he has no bottle … get rid at the first decent offer

  • Brown deliberately ran his studs down the back of Morelos leg which provoked him to swing out when he was trying to join the play further up the field, why didnt the linesman see it?
Have another look at the video and you will see it
Brown was laughing his head off as morelos was sent off.
