There was a mixed reaction towards the performance of Rangers midfielder Ovie Ejaria this afternoon, despite the Gers running out 4-1 winners away to Hamilton in the Scottish Premiership.
Ejaria was one of the only creative outlets in the Gers team today, but he failed to create the amount of chances we’d expect against a team of Hamilton’s standard.
He did fashion one or two half chances for himself, forcing goalkeeper Gary Woods into saves.
With Alfredo Morelos looking fairly isolated in the final third, should he have been more of a link between defence and attack across the 90 minutes?
Ejaria’s form has been up and down so far this season and it’d be great to see him bring a bit more consistency to his Gers performances.
Fans didn’t really know what to make of his display today.
Plenty of supporters were delighted with his performance…

Ejaria my MotM today, only one driving forward. Katic had a mare, never felt comfortable at 1-0

Others though needed more convincing, believing he should have been taken off by Steven Gerrard in the second half…
And why Ejaria plays always the whole game is beyond me… Today he was the weakest link in midfield but there he is playing the 90 minutes AGAIN

Awful away from home gain which is a major concern. We created nothing from open play. I will say this right now, we will not win the league or beat Celtic at home with Ejaria in the team.

Ejaria, Culibaly not been in the game so far they need to up their game. Morelos not getting the service. Too busy going from side to side and backwards. #Letsgo
