Rangers supporters can’t get enough of midfielder Scott Arfield right now after his stunning hat-trick against Motherwell on Sunday.
The former Burnley man has been the talk of the town since his three classy finishes at Fir Park.
It’s a contribution that has led to many suggesting he’s found his new best position in a Rangers shirt, having been deployed in an attacking role on the left flank in support of Jermain Defoe.
The suspension of Alfredo Morelos was thought to have been a big blow to the Rangers team in our final handful of matches, but two 3-0 victories over Hearts and ‘Well have allowed Steven Gerrard to experiment a bit with his tactics and starting eleven.
In Defoe and Arfield, has the Liverpool icon stumbled onto a productive partnership? At the very least it must be explored further.
