Rangers have moved to the top of the Scottish Premiership table with a win over Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday.

Steven Gerrard’s side capitalised on Celtic’s lack of league action this weekend to move ahead of the reigning champions with a 2-1 comeback victory.

It was an excellent battling performance but Gerrard will know his side must continue to improve if they are to seriously challenge the Hoops when May rolls round.

One area of the team that could use some fresh ideas is central midfield, with Lassana Coulibaly and Ovie Ejaria coming under particular criticism for their middling form of late.

One man fans would love to see get a renewed chance from the start of matches is prospect Ross McCrorie, who really impressed coming onto the pitch late in the match today.

He has the commitment to really add something to the team in a brutal December schedule.

These supporters took to Twitter today to share their hopes of his inclusion soon…
