It’s being reported that Rangers have rejected a fourth offer for Alfredo Morelos from Beijing Renhe.

A fortnight after turning down an original offer said to be worth around the £7.5million region, it’s believed that the Chinese club have returned with a new and improved offer but they only increased the bid by a reported £500,000.

The Daily Record say this offer too has been rejected out of hand.

It must be said The Sun speculate the offer, also rejected, was in the region of £9million and with the Chinese transfer window not closing until the end of the month, no doubt the speculation won’t end there.

Especially as the implication is that two South American clubs have also been in contact with the club to register their interest in the youngster – but it’s not believed they have made formal offers.
