Morelos Does It Again As Rangers Take Another Win

A short time ago this afternoon Rangers hosted St Mirren at Ibrox for the latest Premiership encounter.

Going into the match, history was clearly in our favour. At Ibrox we were unbeaten against St Mirren in the previous ten encounters, and we have only lost twice in 21 meetings in total, so with confidence and performances growing for the side under manager Steven Gerrard, hopes were high of another positive result.

I’m not sure you can call it a walk in the park, especially as we again went down to ten men as Ross McCrorie saw a straight red card at the half-hour mark of the match, but by then we already had the two-goal advantage thanks to efforts from Alfredo Morelos and Connor Goldson, so it was pretty comfortable.

A steady and organised showing led us to victory, the only disappointing thing is had we had our full complement of men the scoreline could’ve been far more impressive with the number of chances we had across the game.

Three points are three points though, it’s another W in the column for the season and marks our first league win following Aberdeen, so we roll on to the next one looking to keep this form going.
