A deadline day transfer teaser has been provided by Sky Sports with an update of potential further activity at Ibrox today.
Just before noon, speaking live from outside Ibrox, Luke Shanley was providing an update on the transfer talking points in Scottish football. Leading with the expected Raskin confirmation to follow, it was stated that Rangers are also looking at further activity in terms of new arrivals.

It is a very interesting snippet given the lack of rumours or potential names currently in discussion with the Morgan Whittaker deal seemingly dead. Aside from Nicolas Raskin, it also makes you think as to where any new arrival would fit in?
Michael Beale has spoken in recent days about wanting four new players between now and the next transfer window in Summer. With a suggested exit for James Sands, could it be another body in midfield or even the defender that Beale was looking to provide “certainty”.
Further Ibrox action should be forthcoming today with the confirmation of Raskin whilst there is still the possibility of loan exits. Any permanent senior departures appear unlikely at this stage given that they would need to be replaced. An interesting, intriguing few hours lies ahead.
