It’s being reported that Kenny Miller is on the verge of signing for Rangers for the third time.

The striker is said to have been a long term target for manager Ally McCoist and with his spell in the MLS with Vancouver Whitecaps now over, he would be free to join us ahead of the coming Championship season.

It’s suggested a medical has already been arranged and will be completed shortly, and that the deal will be announced later this week, with Miller becoming McCoist’s first piece of business this summer.

It’s rumoured that finer details on a two year contract just need to be finalised.

Kris Boyd is also linked to us, but it’s suggested that another rumour of a move for Shaun Hutchinson will not come off.
