It’s being reported this afternoon that Kenny Miller is training with the Under 20 side following the fall out following the defeat to Celtic.

The BBC are one of many to report that Miller has now been dropped indefinitely from the first team squad following a fall out with Pedro Caixinha.

Having been left out of the League Cup tie with Partick Thistle earlier this month, the 37 year old started on the bench for the Celtic defeat and it’s being reported today that he’s not involved in tonight’s clash with Hamilton and now will he be in the travelling party that heads to Canada for the Eusebio Cup clash with Benfica.

He is instead with Graeme Murty’s side and it’s expected he will travel to Brentford on Sunday.

How long this omission will last is anybody’s guess, but Miller isn’t the first player to be effectively banished from first team affairs this season and the Portuguese gaffer did take a ‘what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’ approach to questions about his post Celtic team meeting and what may have been said in that meeting.

With Miller’s standing at the club, plenty of outlets are speculating on what may be further fall out from this as plenty are already speculating that anything other than a victory this evening could spell the end for Caixinha and even victory may only give him two more games.
