Young Rangers star Barrie McKay has committed his future with a contact that will see him stay until at least 2017. The youngster has been a revelation at Rangers this season and has a bright future in the game.

He already agreed to the contract in principal but could not make it official until his 18th birthday. He turned 18 at end of December and has now sat down with the management and made the contract official. McKay scored the first goal of the new Rangers era in the 2-2 draw with Peterhead in August.

Rangers future looks bright with the likes of McKay, Lewis MacLeod, Robbie Crawford and Fraser Aird all breaking into the first team. MacLeod and Crawford already signed similar deals to the one signed by McKay.
