Lee McCulloch has said it was an amazing feeling to lift the SFL3 Trophy in the air to a packed Ibrox today.

Speaking to the Official Site McCulloch said that he’d often wondered how the likes of David Weir and Barry Ferguson had felt lifting trophies for the club, and he was close to tears as he experienced it for himself after the Berwick game today.

‘Going up there to get the trophy was unbelievable, especially as Captain. It means so much to me. It’s amazing, it really is.’

McCulloch’s lad was a mascot today, and his mum and dad were in attendance for the honour, and he says he just feels an immense amount of pride.

The fans also set a world record for attendance, and McCulloch adds that they created a truly wonderful atmosphere for the ocassion.
