Ahead of the Championship opener against St Mirren yesterday, Rangers confirmed that young defender Luca Gasparotto had joined Greenock Morton on loan.
The 20 year old centre half has moved to the side until January and should get some good game time following their promotion into League One this year.
Having been on loan at Airdrieonians last season, he won both the Young Player and the Player of the Year awards at the Excelsior Stadium after making 27 appearances for them with a return of two goals.
Having represented Canada at youth level he has also now been called up by the senior side as well.
