Well, what a tense night that was, in the end, yesterday but one we can feel relatively positive about when all is said and done.
Of course, we’d have all liked the win against the Spanish side and the way things started suggested that we were going to get on the right path for the three points.
The red changed things, though, and we had to then be careful and take what we could rather than get greedy.
We’ve given ourselves a chance in Vienna, then, and that is all we really wanted at the start of this group phase so we can be happy.
Michael Beale was pleased with what he saw, too, as he took to Twitter to reflect on the result:
Great performance again from the fans at Ibrox tonight. Positive result after being put in a difficult situation. All to play for in Vienna!! ????⚪️???? pic.twitter.com/s2pFBpNIAi

Certainly, Beale’s presence alongside Steven Gerrard and Gary McAllister at the club is proving worthwhile and many are really appreciating what he brings and his message in general:
The Michael Beale 432 formation when we’re down to 10 men coming up trumps again, tried to explain how it worked to the bloke beside me but I was drunk and he thought I was mental
