Rangers earned another pre-season win at the weekend as they edged Derby County 1-0 and were good value for the victory in all honesty.
It’s been an impressive off-season for the Gers.
Not only have we managed to keep players and sign good ones, too, we’ve also shown a real professionalism and level of football that should see us go far this season.
Indeed, we’re taking on good opposition and getting wins and now it is up to the Gers to get things going in the league and take Celtic on.
Plenty to take from the game against the Rams, then, and one thing of note was Filip Helander’s impressive performance.
He had little to do at the back, in truth, but what he needed to do he did well and he also looked a threat at the other end for set pieces.
Gers fans reacted to his performance on Twitter, too, so let’s take a look at what was said…
Has helander lost a header yet? Looks a machine in the air

Really pleased with that overall performance, really should have been in the 5-0 range.
Kamara much sharper and bossed the midfield, Davis was his usual self, Doc effective (just needs to improve his final ball). Katic and Helander looked solid.
Looking good.

Decent to win 1-0. And nice to see Helander for a longer period. Hopefully go on and win on Thursday.

Him Katic and fod never had much to do defensively. Him and katic are two huge threats in the opposition box.

Decent, a real danger in the opposition box too…

Solid at winning the ball in the air. First time quite vocal as well.
Seemed comfortable with the ball in possession.

Never really had a lot to do. Looks a threat in the oppositions box at set pieces though. Was unlucky not to score. Can tell he isnt quite up to speed just yet.
