Key Rangers figure suggests further business as club hopes to complete attacker deal

|

It’s been a very good transfer window for Rangers so far this summer and I think we can be pleased with what the club has managed to do.

The Gers have certainly got a good squad together that should be capable of making a challenge in the league and it appears as though we might not be done just yet in the window.

Indeed, the Scottish Sun is reporting that we still hope for a deal to be done involving Ryan Kent and, in speaking to the club’s official site, Director of Football Mark Allen has suggested that we’re still willing to add to the side before the deadline.

He revealed:

“The transfer window closes in the early September this year so we’ll go right to the wire.

“If we think there’s something out there that can add to what we’ve already got and will make us better then my job is to make the case to the board to see where we get to.”

Of course, he has not namechecked Kent and nor would he out of respect for the situation but the speculation that we’re still keen is there and it’s clear we still have the ability to get things done.

Let’s see what happens in the final weeks.
