As quoted by the Daily Record, Steven Gerrard has again stated that every Rangers player does have a price unfortunately for us.
The Gers have been excellent at the start of this season and are on course to challenge Celtic and get into the Europa League group stages.
Indeed, we have got to this early position thanks to our squad performing very well and the recruitment that we have done in the summer has been exemplary in all honesty.
However, with a few weeks left in the window, Gerrard has admitted that there is still a chance that some of our top players could leave for the continent if the money is right.
He said:
“As I’ve said before, all of my players have a price, unfortunately.
“We’re not a Man City or a Liverpool, where some players don’t have a price. I can’t predict what’s going to happen around Europe, so we have to be prepared for stuff happening.”
Hopefully, no bids will come in for the likes of Morelos or Tavernier this summer now because we have got a squad that, as it is, is capable of winning silverware more than once this season.
