The rivalry between Celtic and Rangers has always been a feisty one, and when the two teams take each other on this weekend, we’re expecting sparks to fly.

Ahead of the game, we’ve been thinking about the small battles that will decide the game, and the two team’s attacking options offer particular room for debate. Alfredo Morelos and Odsonne Edouard are some of Scotland’s best forwards, and it will be interesting to see which one steps up.

On their day, both are fantastic, but former Celtic man John Hartson has revealed who he thinks is the better option, and it’s fair to say that he’s gone for a surprising choice.

As per BT Sport, he said: “He’s [Alfredo Morelos] a pest, he’s a handful…with Leigh Griffiths out and Edouard not filling his boots every week… you’d have to say every week that Morelos is the one on fire”.

It’s not often that Hartson sides with the Gers, but in this case, we think he’s absolutely right to. Though frustrating for fans, there’s no denying that Morelos is unstoppable when he’s playing well.

If he’s able to stay on the pitch and not get into any more disciplinary trouble, we’re expecting him to lead the way in Scotland for years to come.
