James Tavernier sends message to Rangers fans after Ross County win

|

Rangers kept the pressure firmly up on Celtic last night in the Scottish Premiership as we ran out 4-0 winners against Ross County on what was a very chilly evening.

The Gers have started this season in great fashion and can now look forward to earning themselves, if all goes to plan, a spot in the Betfred Cup final with the semi against Hearts this weekend.

It’s been a productive few weeks, then, and with just a goal separating us and Celtic in the title race, it’s clear that the battle could well go to the end of the season.

We’ll need our players to be bang at it for the duration of the campaign, then, and the likes of James Tavernier will need to keep things tight at the back as well as produce going forwards.

He took to Twitter to reflect on last night’s match, then, and had this to say:

It’s his birthday today, meanwhile, so a fairly decent early present for him.
