Rangers will be looking to right some wrongs this evening at Ibrox as we take on Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup.
The Gers have been good at times this season but they’ve also dropped off at other times and that has left us off of the pace in the title race.
Indeed, we need to be more consistent and the game at the weekend showed that as we slumped to a 0-0 draw against St Johnstone.
And, that said, Steven Gerrard’s admission about training before that game really won’t exactly fill you with confidence:
🎙️SG: The week's training heading into St Johnstone I didn't see the team with the right mentality, I saw a bit of ego before that match. This doesn't happen very often, we are usually strong. I have told the players in a very honest way that is not acceptable at Rangers.

Shouldn’t he have drummed it out of them more? Maybe, but it’s at least something they’ll learn from now.
And, that in mind, it’s got many of our fans far from impressed by the remarks.
Let’s take a look at what has been said as the Gers go about making things right tonight and sealing a tie with Aberdeen…
As the manager, don't pick these players, it's your job to put out the best team to win the game. 100 per cent try is what the fans want, not egotistical laziness.

Then complain about the team changing too much

Bit of ego! I blame @Cjnovo992

I find this hard to believe . Any player who pulls on a Rangers jersey should know what is expected 100%. I don’t want to just see that in games against Sellik. It should be every game no question. Fans were cheated on Saturday. Lesson endeth
