Kenny Miller has won the Co-operative Insurance Cup for Rangers against all the odds after Rangers had TWO men sent off at Hampden.

Rangers looked down and out after both Kevin Thomson and Danny Wilson were sent packing by referee Craig Thompson. St Mirren dominated the game, but Rangers seemed to play better after the two red cards.

There was a huge sigh of relief at full-time as Rangers managed to produce a miracle to lift the trophy when it seemed that St Mirren’s name was written all over it.

This will hopefully be the first leg of a treble this season, but that’s still to come. For now let’s just celebrate yet another trophy win. The 26th time Rangers have won this particular tournament.

Full report to follow soon.
