Rangers confirmed yesterday evening that Joe Garner had now left the club and was en route to Ipswich Town for the coming year.

The brief confirmation on Official Site announced that Garner leaves with the clubs’ ‘best wishes’ and he makes the move to Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee.

The 29 year old has signed a three year deal with his new club.

Having come in from Preston North End last summer, he made a total of 34 appearances for Rangers last season, scoring ten times for the club.

He made his debut in August’s one all draw with Kilmarnock, coming off the bench as a replacement for Joe Dodoo.
