Alfredo Morelos has enjoyed a brilliant season so far, and as the campaign has gone on, he’s managed to improve with every passing week. He was crucial again at the weekend against Hearts, and we’re expecting him to maintain his importance as the league continues.
It’s no surprise that Rangers as a collective have improved alongside Morelos. It seems as though whenever he plays well, Rangers play well, and that’s reflected by our recent form.
Indeed, Morelos has been unstoppable as of late, and the numbers behind his campaign highlight that. As shared by the SPFL on Twitter, Morelos has bagged a goal in each of his last seven league games.

Having a strong team defence and midfield is important, but without a top forward, it’s always going to be hard for a side to impress. There are countless teams across Europe and beyond that though impressive on any given day, a lack of firepower often prevents them from getting over the line.
That’s why, over the last few years, millions upon millions of pounds have been spent across Europe landing the best attackers, with the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata moving in the Premier League for huge sums.
Of course, we don’t have the sort of money to be spending millions on players like that, but it’s also clear that we just don’t need to. We’ve got our own quality forward in Morelos, and it’s quickly becoming clear that he’s one, if not the, best attackers in Scotland.
If he can keep up this goalscoring run, there’s no telling where we’ll be next year.
