Emerson Hyndman has already made an impact at Rangers with him scoring twice in as many games against Motherwell and Hearts.

Hyndman has impressed in his outings for Rangers so far with the American’s goal at Tynecastle bringing us level against Hearts before they eventually ran out 4-1 victors in midweek.

Bournemouth chances had been limited for Hyndman since the midfielder joined the Premier League side in the summer from Fulham. However, Eddie Howe has backed him to have a very bright future at Dean Court.

Explaining the move Howe said pressure of playing at a club the size of Rangers would help to unlock the huge potential Hyndman has.

Howe was quoted by the Evening Times as saying.

‘Emerson has huge potential to be a very good player for us over a number of years. To get to that point we felt he needed to play games. The reason behind the Rangers move was twofold. The size of the club and the experience he will gain up there, in terms of the pressure environment and the amount of people watching him, we felt would be really good for him.’

Working with Mark Warburton will also benefit Hyndman – and of course Rangers – according to Howe who expects the midfielder to return to his parent club a better player from his spell at Ibrox.

‘We also felt working with Mark Warburton would do him the world of good. I’ve got a lot of time for Mark since his work at Brentford and how he coaches. There has been a lot of thought behind the move and I think he will come back a better player for it.’
