Rangers fans did not appreciate Umar Sadiq’s heavy criticism of Steven Gerrard and the club this week.
In an interview with The Sunday Post, Sadiq claimed the manager made him feel humiliated by excluding him from first-team training, also claiming that the club owe him as much as a month’s wages.
It was a bitter assault on his time at the club, during which he demonstrated absolutely nothing to suggest he had the ability to make the grade at Ibrox.
Starting just once, in a Scottish League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen, he was dreadful during his limited playing time and won’t be missed by any supporter at Ibrox.
It’s rather easy for flop signings to blame everyone but themselves for a failed transfer move and it’s fair to say that fans aren’t putting too much stock in his comments.
These supporters have taken to Twitter this week to share their thoughts on it all…
Umar Sadiq saying Rangers still owe him money, well he still owes us a performance so I call it quits

Umar Sadiq didn’t earn one penny of his money from @RangersFC. A fraud of a footballer. A huge mistake to bring him in and one we’ll hopefully learn from.

Mental how Umar Sadiq waits 3 months to reveal he was fined 20k and allegedly owed wages.
Right before an old firm game as well.

– dived in the box with a clear shot at goal against Aberdeen
– shat out of every 50/50
– had the composure of a giraffe on an ice rink
– horrific taste in tracksuits
– became a memeBet we couldn't wait for him to leave the club!

He’s not even a footballer for a start.

After his performance against Aberdeen in the cup, I’d say he got off lightly.

Should be the other way around Bambi on ice springs to mind.. seen him for 5 mins against the Croatian team in Europe couldn’t trap a bag of cement.. who scouted him ??

Sounds like a load of pish from a player who did absolutely nothing to justify his move or his wages. A wage thief and a fraud of a footballer. Easy to try and hit out at a club when you’ve been a total disaster. ????
