‘Hopefully isn’t a sign of things to come’ – Rangers fans react to latest transfer news
Reported Rangers transfer target won’t be moving to Ibrox this summer, with French club Bordeaux confirming he has has signed a four-year deal on a pre-contract basis this evening.

Rangers were reported to be in the hunt for the player after Steven Gerrard made a personal scouting trip to France last week.
STV said yesterday evening that a three-year deal was on the table for the Rennes stopper to make the move to Glasgow, having also been invited to attend the upcoming Old Firm derby on Sunday.
It appears though that we’ll have to move on to other defensive targets in the upcoming transfer window, with a replacement needed for Joe Worrall, who is heading back to parent club Nottingham Forest.
Fans are remaining pretty calm about the news, recognising that the move for Mexer was always ambitious and that there’s still plenty of time to make the signings Gerrard needs.

So Edson Mexer's agent says he shouldn't move to Rangers as it's a step down.
So he engineers a move to Bordeaux.
A team who have won only 5 in their last 20 and sitting 14th in Ligue 1.
