As quoted by Football Insider, Noel Whelan has suggested that no-one is interested in signing Alfredo Morelos this summer because of his attitude.

The striker is one of our best players and scored a real glut of goals last season but he has struggled to keep a curb on his enthusiasm for getting into scraps, shall we say.

And, according to Whelan, it’s for that reason that no-one wants to sign him this summer – whilst he has also suggested that the Gers want to get rid of him in his quotes.

He said:

“When you’ve got a player with an attitude like Morelos at Rangers, they want to get rid of him because of his attitude. He’s still banging in a hat trick but there’s been no offers for him. Why is that? It’s attitude.”

Perhaps it is putting teams off but I would imagine that that is actually unlikely.

Hopefully, we’ll see no offers come in for him and for Whelan to claim that we want to get rid of him suggests he’s a little out of touch with the situation anyway.

Let’s just hope the forward is here by the end of the transfer window.
