Rangers drew two-two with Morton in the Scottish Championship on Saturday as the Gers saw a lead lost before battling back to earn a late point in the end.

An early Kenny Miller goal, inside two-minutes, had Rangers off to a perfect start when he headed in a James Tavernier freekick that many would have expected to see them go on and complete a comfortable win? That wasn’t the case though with Morton battling throughout.

Tavernier scored the latest goal of his season just past the half hour mark but this own goal isn’t one he would have wanted (obviously) to see Morton level at half time, this came at the end of one of the numerous counter-attacks they sprung.

When Stefan McCluskey curled Morton ahead, profiting from a long ball from ‘keeper Grant Adam that Rob Kiernan didn’t deal with, in the final 10-minutes they looked set to stun Rangers but Lee Wallace set up Martyn Waghorn instantly to make it two-all a couple of minutes later.

The above video shows the highlights from this game at Ibrox with this draw not seeing any ground lost (or gained) on Hibernian as they too drew so the gap remains as it was at the top.
