Rangers secured a win over Dumbarton in the Championship on Saturday when a second half blitz in the final 30-minutes, when five-goals were scored, saw the Gers through to a six-nil win.

With half time approaching, but the scores still level at nil-nil, Kenny Miller opened the scoring three-minutes from half time from an Andy Halliday pass to send Rangers into the break one-up.

Miller added another two goals in five-minutes either side of the hour to complete his hat-trick; his first in five-years!

Martyn Waghorn made it four when set up by James Tavernier in the final 20-minutes with Halliday, available due to his sending off being appealed, adding the fifth in the final 10-minutes when his freekick was deflected past Dumbarton ‘keeper Mark Brown with Tavernier hitting the sixth from distance two-minutes from time, this was a 25-yard drive that Brown had no chance with.
