Ryan Jack has proven to be the latest Rangers player to withdraw from the Scottish national team ahead of the next set of international games.
One of our better players, he should have been called-up in the first place but it was only after other withdrawals he was given the call by Alex McLeish.
He’s not stuck around long, though, with him leaving the squad to face Albania and Israel.
He’d probably have been booed if he’d played anyway, let’s be honest, thanks to the state of our national team at the moment and, certainly, many of us are happy about the news.
Indeed, it’s a pretty damning indictment of things on the international stage at the moment but, there we are, it is what it is in that instance.
Let’s take a look, then, at how Gers fans have reacted to his withdrawal which is down to a slight injury:

On yerself Ryan. Why risk injury for fans that just boo you anyway. Concentrate on Rangers

At least he won’t get booed then for being a Bluenose!

He’s got a knee injury hope it’s not serious

He’ll probably get booked for that.
