Rangers supporters aren’t wholly convinced that a move for Oli McBurnie this summer is worth pursuing, despite his on the record comments stating his desire to play for the club.

Last month, the Swansea City striker admitted to The Daily Record that he would love to play for his boyhood heroes, with first team opportunities at the Liberty Stadium limited.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at English Championship side Barnsley, scoring nine goals in 16 appearances and impressing enough to be voted the club’s player of the season.

His form has earned him call-ups to the Scotland national team, winning four caps to date.

However, Rangers making a move for him is cause for debate between supporters, with 46% of respondents to a poll we published earlier this week believing the club shouldn’t sign him this summer.

Is he a player the club should be looking at, or do the Gers already have enough depth in attack with Alfredo Morelos and Umar Sadiq?
