Rangers Word On The Tweet

‘He should start’, ‘Pure class’ – Many fans call on Gerrard to make outlandish Rangers decision

|

Some fans believe that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard could still do a job for the club in a playing capacity after watching him in action for Liverpool Legends this weekend.

Gerrard headed back to his old club during the international break to play a charity match at Anfield against an AC Milan legends team and caught the eye with a very classy goal to win the match late on.

It may have just been an exhibition encounter but it was his first goal at the stadium in five years and delighted both Liverpool and Rangers fans watching on.

The video of the goal went viral, with many believing it was proof enough the 38-year-old could still do a job in the Scottish Premiership.

Joking or not, it was a great moment and reminded everyone just what a brilliant player he was at his peak.

That kind of quality is hopefully now being instilled in his own Rangers players at Auchenhowie.

These supporters took to Twitter to share their hopes of a Gerrard Gers appearance…
