This morning Rangers have confirmed that youngster Joe Dodoo has headed back out of Ibrox on a season-long loan spell to English League One side Blackpool.
The 22-year-old joined the club back in 2016 from Leicester City after coming through their youth ranks, but 27 appearances only returned five goals and he soon fell out of favour not quite living up the hype he arrived with.
???? Joe Dodoo has joined @BlackpoolFC on a season long loan for the 2018/19 campaign.

The first half of last season saw him spend time at Charlton Athletic, and eight appearances for them saw the return of two goals. His return to us saw him make two appearances in the Scottish FA Cup.
Maybe this will be the spell where it clicks for him again and he returns in good confidence ready to step up to the potential many thought he had? A number of Rangers fans hope so. For others, they wish him well, but certainly aren’t expecting him to return.
Good Luck Joe. pic.twitter.com/XZSNzC060H
