Rangers fans are excited about the potential of Dapo Mebude after he helped inspire his side to a Scottish Youth Cup final win over Celtic at Hampden tonight.
The Gers ran out 3-2 winners, the first time the club have won the trophy in five years.
Mebude was one of the players on the score sheet, netting early in the first half to put the young Gers firmly in control of the match.
The Scotland U19 international was superb throughout, giving the Celtic defence all sorts of problems and consistently finding his teammates in the final third.
Still just 17 years of age, some even think he could already be good enough to get an opportunity in Steven Gerrard’s first-team.
Will the manager be tempted to give him some game time in the tail-end of the season?
