The start of November certainly arrived with a bang and not just because of those fireworks.
Across the SPFL Premiership at the weekend there were some dramatic scenes.
Things are always fiery in the Edinburgh derby and so it proved as Neil Lennon took a blow after getting hit by a coin following his celebration of a disallowed Hearts goal.
So that theme would continue, too, as the furore grew with Alfredo Morelos getting pelted by all manner of missiles at St. Mirren following his goal at the weekend.
Certainly, it wasn’t exactly nice to see but, as this clip below from the Gers shows, he just sort of batted everything coming his way to the side like a bull:

Or should I say buffalo?
Even so, it’s got plenty of our fans talking and, unsurprisingly, there’s been a few references to what went on at Tynecastle amongst other things.
Let’s take a look at what has been said in response:
Big Morelos deflects missiles like they are nothing

Just as well it didn’t hit him in the middle of a big puffy jacket, sending painful shockwaves to his face and reducing him to a crumpled heap on the ground, only to rise as the misunderstood darling of Scottish sports media.

shame that coin hit him in the stomach and not the chest – he could have had some amount of column inches
