Rangers moved into second position in the Scottish Premiership after a 3-0 win away to Livingston on Sunday.

Having lost to Kilmarnock last mid-week, there was huge pressure on picking up the three points this time around and Steven Gerrard’s side delivered with a hard working performance.

The result was never really in doubt after Ryan Jack opened the scoring on the 30th minute, with the Gers creating plenty of chances and showing their ruthless side. in the second half especially.

Goals from Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos killed the game off, delighting supporters.

One of the players most praised in the aftermath of the match was attacking midfielder Daniel Candeias, whose passing, movement and pressing was instrumental in securing the win.

He may not be the most eye catching of players at times but his industry and ball retention allow his teammates to play better and he has a creative spark that can be deadly to opposition defences.

Supporters took to Twitter to call for Gerrard to keep him in the starting eleven…
